The Jefferson city council has called a special meeting for Wednesday, April 8, at noon at city hall to deal with Jefferson Municipal Golf Course matters.
On the agenda is approval of the list of seasonal employees to be hired at the golf course, and approval of a one-year lease agreement for golf carts. Golf course manager Micah Destival recommends leasing 15 gas carts for one year at $500 per cart to replace 10 electric rental carts. He is recommending an increase in the number of rental cars available based on an increased demand.
